Teens (13 & up)

Adult MooDo & Kickology Class
Adults need a full body workout in a time slot that works for their busy lives. The Adult class at MooDo is at 5:30pm, right after work, and ends at 6:45pm. Come stretch, breathe, and learn new, exciting and powerful skills involved in a martial art class. We cover full requirements on Mondays and includes the Kickology class on Wednesdays.
Kickology is a class devoted to the art of kicking. The student learns the 4 basic kicks and their evolutions for strength, balance and flexibility as well as awesome self defense applications. Kickology is a “stand alone” 8 week, ongoing, innovative martial arts inspired fitness program focusing on kicks for busy adults.
Why are kicks so effective?
Legs and hips are powerful when used for self defense.
Kicks maintain a further and safer critical distance to an attacker.
Self defense depends on the element of surprise and nobody expects a kick.
Effective in devastatingly practical self defense applications.
Friday Open Floor @ 4-6:30pm:
All students are welcome to come and practice on their own goals and terms on Fridays. The martial arts need repetition and the Friday Open Floor is a great time for students to get that extra time on the mat.
