At what age can my child start Taekwondo classes?

At MooDo Taekwondo we work with students 5 years old and up. Give us a call and we can help determine the best class for them.

How safe is it to learn Taekwondo?

MooDo Taekwondo is safe and fun for all ages and abilities. All our classes are supervised by experienced Black Belts. All students are taught at their own pace and proper level. Classes include a proper warm-up, flexibility training and taught on a safe mat floor. In addition, the use of protective safety equipment is part of our school's philosophy and commitment to our students' safety.

Will Taekwondo make my child more aggressive?

No, at MooDo Taekwondo we help our students understand from the first lesson that Taekwondo is a form of self defense and a great work out. Throughout their training they are reminded to stay humble and respectful as they advance in belt rank. Our team of professional Black Belt instructors continue to reinforce that Taekwondo is a form of exercise and self-improvement, not bullying.
